Natural Stone installed by INSTONE MARBLE including
granite, marble, travertine and limestone are
natural stones that have been cut and polished. Natural
Stone requires regular care to maintain the
stone in the highest possible condition. We recommend
you regularly clean and re-seal the stone every
six months with an application of a silicone impregnator
sealer. Sealing granite, marble, travertine and
limestone is not a guarantee against staining. Natural
stone is a porous material that is susceptible to
scratching, staining, chipping, dulling and other wear
from ordinary use and care. Even under normal
conditions there can be shrinkage of materials, such as
glues and caulking. We recommend you periodically
inspect and caulk seams as necessary to prevent leaks
and other damage. You can obtain the proper materials,
cleaners, caulking and sealants from your local
professionals. Proper care will not insure against
scratching, staining, chipping, dulling, and other
damage, but it will provide better protection from such
damage.
